Jen and Lisa's excellent adventure wrap-up.

We hiked up Falling Waters trail, over the Franconia Ridge and down to the Greenleaf hut. Next day we hiked down from Greenleaf to our car and drove over to the Highland center. We hiked up and back Mt Jackson. Next morning we saw a young bear trying to get up the nerve to go over to a compost container, then we hiked up and back Ripley and Arethusa Falls and headed home.



We hiked a little over 18 miles, about 8300 feet of elevation gain and loss. That's over a mile and a half straight up!
